Prefabricated Vertical drain method (also known as PVD method)

After installing the prefabricated vertical drain material in the soft clay ground, by preloading, the water inside the soft soil can be drained out, therefore achieving the consolidation settlement. The water is discharged through the sand blanket (high quality sand) out of the area. This method is to prevent future land subsidence.
